1.The amount of impurities in the material
Impurities will affect the affinity between particles of the material during the pressure process, resulting in loose products and low molding effect.
2.Forming pressure of briquette ball press machine
The mechanical strength of the briquette ball press machine has a great influence. The mechanical strength directly affects the advantages of the product in the follow-up industrial chain. The forming pressure of the briquette ball press machine can only be obtained through continuous experiments. Due to the different types of coal materials, material moisture, particle size composition, and binder types and quantities, the proportion requirements are also different. Therefore, the forming pressure needs to be continuously adjusted in production.
3.Particle size and composition of materials
The particle size distribution of the material must be reasonable, otherwise the large material particles will lift the surrounding small particles into the air, resulting in a "virtual ball" situation. The virtual ball is complete in appearance, but the mechanical strength of the ball pressure is not enough. Practice has proved that smaller material particle size is conducive to the close arrangement of particles. When the briquette ball press machine adopts the binder molding process, the particle size composition should be such that the total specific surface area of the material is smaller and the total gaps between particles are smaller, thus reducing the production cost of briquettes.
4.The properties of the material itself
Whether it is pulverized coal, briquettes, or coking coal, the elasticity and plasticity of the material particles have a prominent impact on the briquette making machine. When the body of the ball press machine is under pressure, an opposing force will be generated between them. At this time, you can use adhesive caking agent to offset. The higher the plasticity of the coal material, the better the molding properties of the pulverized coal.
5.Moisture content of materials
If the moisture content is large, it is easy for the product to adhere to the pressure roller, resulting in incomplete product shape and affecting the balling rate. Therefore, we need to control the moisture content of the material. The briquette production line requires that the moisture content of the pressed materials does not exceed the moisture content range. Of course, the moisture content requirements of specific materials during pressing are also different.
(1) An appropriate amount of moisture can act as a lubricant, reduce the internal friction of the molding system, and improve the mechanical strength of the briquette. If there is too much water, the surface layer of the particles will become thicker, which will affect the sufficient density of the particles and will instead reduce the mechanical strength of the briquettes.
(2) Hydrophobic adhesive is used for molding, and the moisture content of the material is generally controlled below 4%;
(3) Use hydrophilic adhesive for molding, and the generally suitable moisture content is 10-15%. In short, the moisture content requires more practice to control it within a certain range.
6.The ratio of binder to material
Choosing a reasonable binder is the first step in briquette ball press machine. After identifying the binder, you also need to determine the ratio of the binder to the material. Generally, you need to determine the amount of binder through experiments.
